News » Have your say on extending GP opening hours in North Hertfordshire
![]() | |
"  Patients registered to GP practices in North Hertfordshire are being asked their views on GP opening hours by East and North Hertfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and NHS England. GP practices in North Hertfordshire are currently open between 8am and 6.30pm, Monday to Friday, with some practices open for longer on one or two weekdays or Saturday mornings. These are called ’extended hours appointments’. The new proposal is to offer extended hours appointments every weekday evening and at weekends/early mornings depending on local demand by 2018. These appointments could be offered at a different surgery to the one that a patient is registered with. Everyone registered with a GP practice in the district is asked to give their opinion on these proposals. The survey is now open at: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/NorthHertsExAccess This can also be found on the CCG website from here: http://www.enhertsccg.nhs.uk/have-your-say  The engagement will last for 8 weeks and will close on Wednesday 18th October 2017. Please share the email and links to the survey with anyone you may know that is registered with a GP practice in North Herts.  If you have any queries in the interim, then please come back to me.  Many thanks Mark   Mark Edwards Public Engagement Manager NHS East and North Herts Clinical Commissioning Group  Direct line: 01707 685397 Email: mark.edwards@enhertsccg.nhs.uk Website: www.enhertsccg.nhs.uk   View and download the Sustainability Transformation Plan (STP) for Hertfordshire and west Essex at: www.healthierfuture.org.uk "[+ go back...] |
